Work in Immersive Theatre & Emerging Tech

Experience:

I have been working with Columbia University’s Digital Storytelling Lab since June 2025. I have been working as an associate artist on their upcoming project: LAST HUMAN. As part of the project, I have vibe-coding interactive digital artifacts and helped lead workshops in how to use emerging tech to rapidly prototype creative ideas at both Museum of the Moving Image (as part of their Open Worlds Initiative) as well as multiple workshops at Lincoln Center.

LAST HUMAN

LAST HUMAN is a participatory art and education project that uses storytelling, prototyping, and play to spark dialogue around digital literacy in the age of AI. Positioned at the intersection of art, activism, and pedagogy, it invites particpants to explore how artificial intelligence impacts culture, policy, and the environment - often in unseen or unsettling ways. Through workshops, installation, and open-source experiments, LAST HUMAN empowers communities to critically engage with emerging technologies and imagine more humane, sustainable digital futures.

What does it mean to be human in an age when the internet feels haunted by bots, slop, and synthetic doubles of ourselves? LAST HUMAN, the latest prototype from Columbia’s Digital Storytelling Lab, begins with this question. But instead of offering answers, it creates conditions for participants to experiment, play, and build together inside the “dead internet” - a speculative landscape where identity and truth collapse.
